Michael Bush, President and CEO of Heartland Publications, LLC owner of the Grayson County News-Gazette is pleased to announce the appointment of Timothy Kiger to the position of Publisher of the paper." The News-Gazette is an important part of the Heartland family as well as an integral part of the Leitchfield community. As the oldest newspaper in the community, and the only one solely dedicated to Leitchfield and not a nearby city, it is important that we were able to find someone who desired to put deep roots into the town. Tim is an exciting Publisher who knows how to put out a high quality news product. We engaged in a search for someone who really wanted to move his family to Leitchfield, become involved in a great community, and put out a great newspaper. We were glad to find that person within our companyês own ranks.” Kiger was most recently Publisher at the Heartland Publications property in Madison, West Virginia.
